1.Who is eligible to apply?
A. Any Graduate - Medical or Non-Medical with 50% of marks, and 45% in respect of S.C/ S.T candidates.
2.What is the duration of the course?
A. The Master's Degree in Hospital Management is of a two years (4 semesters) course.
3. What is the admission procedure?
A. Admissions are strictly based on marks/ranks secured in MHM Entrance Examination conducted by Osmania University. Advertisement in this regard will be released in the first week of May every year. A candidate need to apply enclosing a DD for the required amount. The candidate will be sent application form , prospectus, a model question paper and admit card. The application form can also be downloaded from our website www.apolloiha.ac.in. Filled in form along with DD for required amount need to be sent before the due date to the principal.
4. When is the entrance examination conducted and when does regular classes start?
A. Entrance examination is grnerally conducted in the middle of June every year. Regular classes will commence from last week of July every year.
5.What does entrance exam consist of?
A. It consist of Written Examination and is evaluated for 100 marks, which consist of 5 sections
- Test of Reasoning
- Numrical abitity
- English comphrencation
- Health & Hospital Knowledge
- Current Affairs
Each section carries 20 marks.
The minimum qualifying mark in the written examination is 36%, relaxable by 5% in respect of S.C/S.T candidates. Only candidates passing in the written examination will be called for counselling for admissions.
6. What are the career prospects?
A. The Institute has already trained and placed 15 batches of students numbering 600, who are found working in Hospitals and other Health care institutions, both in India and abroad. The Institute has a placement record of cent percent. Healthcare is a rapidly growing industry with tremendous growth potential.
